Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1½ cups butter
- 4 cups chocolate chips
- 1¼ cups brown sugar
- 1¼ cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F
- In a large mixing basin, combine the butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs with a spoon. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add in the chocolate chips and mix well
- Drop dough by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden. Allow cooling slightly. Cool on a wire rack after removing from the cookie sheet
